每个浏览器都使用一些嵌入式数据库。从维基百科信息看来 Google Chrome 使用 SQLite 和 LevelDB。

[LevelDB 维基百科] - "LevelDB is used as the backend database for Google Chrome's IndexedDB and is one of the supported backends for Riak."
但是IE的浏览器内嵌数据库是什么，目前还没有明确的资料。有些人在他们的博客中声称它是 Extensible Storage Engine and some SQL Server Compact。但不幸的是，无论是 Wiki 页面还是某些官方网页都没有证实这一点。
有没有人知道哪个是IE的嵌入式数据库的具体信息。
此外，如果有移动浏览器、Firefox 和 Safari 的信息，那就太好了。

这个可以自己确认。如果关闭 Internet Explorer，打开命令提示符并 cd 到 C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Indexed DB\，然后 运行 "esentutl.exe Internet.edb"。可以看到是ESE数据库。
