Google Places autocomplete may be more appropriate for your needs (as opposed to using an address box). There is sample code in the link to the google docs link provided which I saved in this jsfiddle.

Google Places autocomplete may be more appropriate for your needs (as opposed to using an address box). There is sample code in the link to the google docs link provided which I saved in this jsfiddle.
