我想在本地主机上发送电子邮件，但真的不知道该怎么做。

我尝试了一些不同的方法，但没有用。

我使用 PHPMailer https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/tree/5.2-stable 作为邮件服务器，但我认为这可能是错误的实现。

不知道是否重要，但我使用 MAMP。

注释掉下面两行：

// ini_set("SMTP","ssl://smtp.gmail.com");
// ini_set("smtp_port","465");

并在 $mail = new PHPMailer();

行下方添加以下内容

 $mail->isSMTP();

此外我还得去 myaccount.google.com -> "Sign-in & security" -> "Apps with account access"，然后把 "Allow less secure apps" 变成 "ON" 现在一切都很好。谢谢大家的帮助
