错误消息似乎说明了一切，实际上：您无法清除当前签出（时间轴中标记为 *CURRENT* 的签入），或其之一后裔。来自 the help for the purge command（强调我的）：

Move the check-ins identified by TAGS and all of their descendants out of the repository (…)

解决方案是 update 或 checkout 到另一个签入 ，它不依赖于在执行清除之前要清除的签入。
